Opening of Dr. Betsch and Dr. Georg Medical Centre in Neustadt

In September 2020, the radiology practice Neustadt an der Weinstraße moved into its new premises in the medical centre at Europastraße in Neustadt. a|sh architekten and its team of interior designers, medical planners and energy consultants designed a modern and highly efficient radiology practice with a clear and contemporary architectural language.

The centre of the practice is a fully glazed courtyard with a 100-year old olive tree. Adjacent to this are spacious waiting areas with the two receptions areas for MRI and CT. Thus natural lighting is utilized and orientation in the practice is facilitated by the view to the outdoors. An optimum workflow with state of the art radiological diagnostics technology has been developed around this central area: With two magnetic resonance tomographs (MRT), a computer tomograph, X-ray equipment, mammography, sonography and a self-contained department of nuclear medicine with two gamma cameras, the radiology practice Neustadt an der Weinstraße offers the entire spectrum of modern imaging in diagnostic radiology and nuclear medicine and, in addition, the therapy of inflammatory joint and tendon diseases using nuclear medicine and radiation therapy methods – a medical practice at the highest level.
